Machias Seal Island Puffin Blinds Trip

Half-day boat trips from Cutler Harbor to Machias Seal Island, the largest puffin colony in the Gulf of Maine, where landing visitors spend at least an hour in small enclosed blinds of three or four people with Atlantic puffins often within a few feet. Island access is capped at about 15 people a day and landings depend on sea conditions.
