Family-run farm and wilderness holidays operation at Ruhtinansalmi — 2km from the Russian border and 9km from the Finnish-Russian border crossing at Vartius. Bear safaris operating since 1999. 7 round-log hides 3km from the farm with capacity for 25 people. Evening safari €90/person (4-6h) and overnight safari €152/person including breakfast. Wheelchair accessible — guides drive mobility-impaired visitors directly to the hide. Season April to August 17. Guide always present. Coffee tea and sandwiches provided.
