A raised wooden platform about 9 m high at the edge of Dzanga Bai, a forest clearing where large numbers of forest elephants gather at mineral-rich pools. Visitors drive about 14 km from Bayanga and walk 30 to 40 minutes through forest; the platform faces so that afternoon light suits photography.
