Birding & Wildlife Tour – Slītere NP & Western Latvia

Guided birdwatching and nature tours in western Latvia's Slītere National Park and surrounding Kurzeme Coast, run by local naturalists Kurzemes Putni. The tours cover 7 woodpecker species, 6 owl species and 14+ raptor species including Lesser Spotted Eagle, Honey Buzzard and Osprey. The Slītere ancient forest is one of the finest old-growth deciduous forests in the Baltic region. Tours run 4–7 days for groups up to 30 people. Guide, telescope and binoculars included. €100 per group per day. Pick-up from Riga. Transport and accommodation can be arranged separately. Season: spring through autumn.
