Herd sizes 8-24 individuals; can reach 60kph despite weighing 400kg. Option 1: Group guided day tours (5-7 hours from Oppdal); Option 2: 2-day private personal guide with tent overnight in the national park. Also Arctic fox (small recovering population started in 2007 — now 14 dens). Wolverine and wolf in the park. Tours depart from Oppdal station. Min age 7. No tours in May (calving).
