Specialist winter tours based at the Branta Birding Lodge in Durankulak — the best place in the world to see Red-breasted Geese, with flocks of 20,000–62,000 birds wintering at Durankulak and Shabla lakes. Lead guide Pavel Simeonov (Swarovski Recommended Bird Guide) has decades of experience with this species. The lodge has 10 en-suite rooms and is just 200 m from the lake.
