Rollers & Bee-eaters Photo Hide – Persina NP, Belene

Dedicated hide for photographing European Rollers and Bee-eaters at natural nest boxes and perches in the Belene area of the Danube Plain, within Persina Nature Park. Bulgaria holds one of the largest European Roller populations in the EU — the Danube lowlands are particularly rich. The hide is set at ideal distance for 300–600 mm lenses, with natural branch perches providing clean backgrounds. Little Owl and Hoopoe also regularly visit. Very short season (May 10 – June 30 only) when rollers and bee-eaters are most active at nests. €70 per person per day.
