Blakeney Point Grey Seal Colony & Seabird Boat – North Norfolk
Inside Holkhamby National Trust / Bishops Boats / Beans Boats (from Morston Quay)
Blakeney Point is England's largest grey seal colony — 4000 breeding females and 3000+ pups born December–January. Bishops Boats and Beans Boats run licensed trips from Morston Quay (daily dependent on tides) bringing photographers alongside the seals at close range. Pups visible from boats — intimate seal photography without disturbance. Also summer tern photography: large Sandwich tern colony plus common little and Arctic terns breeding on shingle spit. NT managed. Accessible by foot from Cley or by boat from Morston. Best for photography: boat at high tide October–February (seal pups). Summer: evening boat to tern colony.
