Four bird photography hides near Thattekad (Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary), two within 100 m of Eldhose Birding Lodge and two within 4 km, each taking up to 10 photographers. Morning (6:30-9:00) and afternoon (14:15-18:00) sessions give close, clean-background shots of Western Ghats forest birds.
