Self-catering B&B apartment above the Erkensruhr valley in the Eifel, run by a Dutch birder who also guides birding and hide-photography tours. A small photography hide for up to three people stands next to the house and can be booked with the stay; up to 30 bird species have been logged there, mainly woodland passerines and occasional woodpeckers, hawfinch and bullfinch. The business also runs Reiki/spiritual retreats, so wildlife is one of two main offers.
