Guided canoe tour through the waterways of the Nemunas Delta to Ventė Cape — one of the top raptor migration watchpoints in northern Europe. The tour includes a visit to the Ventė Cape Ornithological Station, where up to 500,000 birds pass per day during peak autumn migration and 80,000 birds are ringed annually. Red-necked Grebe, Bittern, White-tailed Eagle and Eurasian Beaver are regularly seen from the canoes. Guide Vita Ščiglauskienė (ornithologist, coastal researcher) leads spring/summer tours; Boris Belchev leads autumn migration tours. ~6 hours. €82 per person direct; ~$177 via Viator.
