7 purpose-built photo and observation hides in a diverse mixture of habitats on the edge of the Hevesi Füves Puszták Nature Reserve. Built and operated by Vágány Zoltán — geographer, environmental researcher and nationally recognised nature photographer. 4 of the 7 hides open to the public by prior appointment. Spring hides target hoopoe roller and little owl nesting in purpose-placed nest boxes. Winter hides have regular supplementary feeding for passerines and raptors. Supported by Pély village council. 130km from Budapest. Pély is 20km from Lake Tisza.
