Lunga is the closest approachable puffin colony in Britain — birds at ground level along the path at arm's reach. 40+ species. Harp Rock holds thousands of guillemots. Short-eared owl on island. Also Staffa/Fingal's Cave crossing. Gordon Grant Marine also runs from Iona. Day trips only. Considered by many the best puffin photography experience in the UK.
