Skomer Island Puffin & Seabird Photography – Pembrokeshire

Outside, 100 m from Arfordir Penfroby Wildlife Trust of South & West Wales

One of the UK's most extraordinary seabird photography destinations. Skomer holds the largest puffin colony in southern Britain and the world's largest Manx shearwater colony (60% of global population). Puffins nest on the clifftop path at arm's reach May–July. Day visitors strictly limited to 250/day — book months ahead. Overnight stays in island farmhouse (20 beds) — sells out within minutes of release for sunrise/sunset photography. Also Drew Buckley Photography and Carl Thomas Photography run commercial photo workshops on the island. Short-eared owls nest here. Massive grey seal colony in autumn. Contact: 01239 621212.
